This home fragrance was created by Simonetta Giurlani Pardini after carrying out a study of the plants that Elisa Bonaparte Bacciocchi brought to Lucca. Elisa was an emancipated woman, who loved nature and perfumes, often wore a eau di cologne with citrus notes. Villa Reale now offers a specially formulated home fragrance, in memory of Elisa.
Two sizes are available: 100ml (a practical gift size) and 250ml (a longer lasting ).
Notes of lemon and sweet orange make up the sparkling essence of Citron from Firenze, which Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi added to the citrus collection in the Lemon Garden.
Hints of Mimosa bring to mind the botanical species brought to Marlia for the first time by Elisa and subsequently planted in numerous gardens in the Lucca area. Notes of Musk and Pine invoke the shady areas of the park.
The development and mixing of these fragrances mirrors the Eau di Cologne worn daily by Princess Elisa, bringing this evocative scent from the past to the Villa today.

The whole Bonaparte family shared a passion for botany, particularly following the delivery, ordered by Napoleon in 1800, of a range of botanical specimens from the Southern Territories to Europe. Elisa kept abreast of these new discoveries and her residence in Marlia became a location of botanic experimentation and innovative growing techniques, enriching the garden with new and interesting species.
